Signing Up

  1. The primary method for signing up for a Saturday golf event is on line at AshroseGolfClub.com. If necessary, you may sign up by directly contacting the GD via email or by phone. There will be a separate sign-up page for each event that will display information about the event including course name, greens/cart fees, date, starting time, tournament format, prize money. On line sign up is cut off one (or three) weeks prior depending on required contractual agreement with individual golf courses. You must contact the GD via email or by phone if the cut-off date has passed.
The member must be logged in using their Ashrose ID or email address and password.
  2. There are 2 main ways to access an upcoming event on-line, a) through the Event page found on the menu bar or b) using the calendar and clicking on the desired date. Members clicking on “Sign-up” will immediately be sent a confirmation by email. Keeping track of events for which they have signed up can be found on the My Bookings page under Events. If there is uncertainty, the “GD” may be called (preferably by e-mail) as a last resort.
  3. If you are playing a rescheduled match, note in the “Comment” box above and prior to clicking on “Sign Up” button.
  4. Members are encouraged to invite guests. Guest names should be listed in the Comments section of the event prior to clicking on the “Sign Up” button and ensure the number of spaces reserved is correct for counting. Default value is set to “1” for member only sign up.

Pairings Sheet Responsibilities

It is important that everyone checks the Pairings sheet when sent out. This is your last opportunity to confirm that we have your sign up correct and we need everyone to verify the information.  Please review the following items when you look at the Pairings sheet:

  1. Verify that you are on the list if you plan to play.
  2. Verify that you are not on the list if you don’t plan to play.
  3. Verify that your Match Play with the correct opponent is on the sheet whether you and your opponent have agreed to play on an alternate date or it is a scheduled Match Play Date.
  4. Verify that your guest is on the sheet if you have someone playing with us, we will always put you and your guest in the same foursome.
  5. If there is an unfilled foursome you still have an opportunity to sign yourself or a guest up. These are treated on a first come first serve basis so reply ASAP.
  6. If you find anything that needs to change it is your responsibility to reply by email & copying the GD with your correction/change. Keep in mind once the Pairings sheet is sent, the Online sign up is closed and cancellations are subject to a penalty fee.  Before Pairings are distributed, the course is called to confirm the number of tee times we need so it would be too late to add a tee time.  Even if all the foursomes are filled there are often last minute cancellations and you will be placed on a back up list.  If you are a back up you will be notified you as soon as there is a cancellation, if you don’t hear back, then there were no cancellations.

Cancellation of Sign-up

A member may cancel their participation in an event without penalty if the cancellation is made on or before the Saturday one (or three) weeks before the event, depending on the required advance sign-up.

  1. Members may cancel on line via the My Bookings page up until the cut-off date. If the Cancel link is not available, the cutoff date has passed.
  2. Members canceling after the cut-off date must notify the GD by email as soon as possible to avoid a higher penalty fee.
